Frequently Asked Questions

1. After delivery, how long should you wait before plugging in the wine cooler?

After delivery, allow the wine cooler to stand upright for approximately 4 hours before connecting it to a power source. This helps reduce the risk of cooling-system malfunction caused by handling during transportation.

2. Will it accommodate Champagne bottles or wider wine bottles?

Wider bottles, including some Champagne and Pinot Noir bottles, may require additional space and can reduce the total number of bottles the cooler can hold.

3. Can the shelves be removed to accommodate larger bottles?

Yes removing a shelf would provide additional room for larger bottles, allowing you to arrange your collection more flexibly.

4. How to remove the shelves safely?

To remove them without damaging the inner walls or door seals, make sure the respective door is opened wide enough (usually past 90 degrees) to clear the gaskets, then gently lift and pull the shelf straight out of it track or guide slots.

5. How often should the condenser be cleaned?

Dust deposit will increase energy consumption, clean the condenser twice a year using a vacuum cleaner or soft brush. Disconnect the appliance from power before cleaning or performing maintenance

6. Why might the actual temperature differ from the displayed setting?

The temperature inside the cooler may fluctuate temporarily as the compressor cycles, after the door is opened, or when bottles are first loaded. Allow sufficient time for the temperature to stabilize. If a persistent difference remains, check the door seal and ventilation.

7. Is it normal to hear the compressor running?

Yes. Some operating sounds, including compressor noise and airflow, are normal during the cooling cycle. If you notice unusual rattling or excessive vibration, check if the cooler is leveled and that bottles or nearby objects are not vibrating against one another.

8. What should I check if the door doesn't close properly?

Make sure the cooler is level and that bottles or shelves are not obstructing the door. Check that the door gasket is clean, properly positioned and free of obstructions.

9. What happens if the power goes out?

After power is restored, check that the wine cooler has resumed operation and that both temperature zones display your intended settings. If necessary, reset the temperatures and allow the cooler to stabilize.

10. How should I clean the interior, glass door and wooden shelves?

Disconnect the cooler from the power supply and remove the bottles. Clean the interior and glass surfaces with a soft cloth and a suitable mild cleaner. Clean the wooden shelves gently and dry them thoroughly before reinstalling. Avoid abrasive materials and harsh chemicals.

Factors to Consider a Wine Cooler

A wine cooler fridge is essential for keeping your favorite bottles at the perfect temperature for both serving and long-term storage. A built-in wine refrigerator will seamlessly complement your other home appliances while expanding your storage capacity. Whether you need a small wine fridge to fit in your kitchen island or a larger design for your bar nook, consider a dual-zone cooling system that can store both red and white wines at their ideal temperatures.

Storage Capacity

Start by thinking about how many bottles you plan to store. Our selection includes compact models for a few cherished bottles and large-capacity units that hold up to 160 bottles—ideal for serious collectors or casual enthusiasts.

Bottle Size and Shape

When we refer to bottle capacity for our wine and beverage coolers, we mean the maximum number of standard 750ml Bordeaux-style bottles that can fit inside the unit. If your collection includes bottles that differ from the traditional Bordeaux-style shape or size, the actual capacity may be lower than the advertised capacity.

Freestanding vs. Built-In

Freestanding fridges offer flexibility in placement—from your kitchen to a home bar, wine cellar, or even in a closet and they usually require side clearance. Built-in models are designed to fit under counters or in cabinet for a seamless look with front venting. Whichever you choose, always double-check the dimensions to ensure a perfect fit in your space.

Temperature Control

Temperature control is crucial for long-term wine storage. Ensure optimal temperature storage for
your entire wine collection with our versatile, high-quality wine fridges.

Cooling System

Compressors are more common and tend to achieve lower temperatures but they generate more noise and heat. Thermoelectric systems run quieter, produce no vibrations and do not use chemicals.

Dimensions

Don’t overlook size. Carefully measure the intended location for your wine fridge, accounting for width, height, and ventilation clearance. A well-fitted unit not only performs better but also looks more integrated into your space.
